8th June 2009

Wind Stength: 20mph and FALLING !!
Surf / Sea State: flat really
Air Temperature: nice
Sea Temperature: ok
Weather: Sunny and windy to begin with

Fun session though a real shame it dropped off.

Got to Pevensey after completing DIY chore for the day and a nuked Half-English brekkie. Gutted was due down and VFW Mark, Baydrew& Francis were all due to make an appearance.

Lots of white horses, but not windy enough for the waveboard so simple choice pending arrival of new toys ... rig up the 10'5 and 5.8m Superfreak.

Did have another toy to play with, the OS ATC3K Action Cam .... so took few minutes longer to rig than normal so I could stick it on the top of the mast to see how that worked, having tried boom mount options last week at Littlestone.

I'll get the vid up on www.surfkraft.com when get a chance as results are pretty good, though the footage isn't that radical if honest.

Anyway, nice session in the sun. Started pretty sweet, then wind eased pretty much as forecast, so messed about for a bit upwind, coz I could, and fell in a bit too .. LOL

Shame VFW Mark spent too long in 'wardrobe' getting all coordinated ..... but he did match his new van quite well ... as did his RRD FSW and his Severne 6.5m ... but his van was prettiest by a country mile ;-) He's really got these Windsurf conversions nailed .... and looks like I might have to book mine in for some internal 'pimping' PDQ ...

Nice day at the beach, all rounded off with a real moody sky / sea scape as the dark clouds came in and sea looked as green as I've seen it for a while .... proper picture postcard stuff :-)
